Amazon and your data
Product links point to Amazon and carry an affiliate tag. When you follow one, Amazon can see that you arrived from this site and may set cookies of its own. From that point Amazon’s privacy notice governs what happens, not ours. Amazon reports sales totals to us; it does not tell us who bought anything.
What the server keeps
There is no sign-up, no basket and no checkout here, so there is no customer database. The server keeps the usual access log — page, timestamp, browser, referring page, shortened IP address. Mail you send us is kept so we can answer it.
Analytics
We may use an analytics service to count visits and see which pages are read. It tells us how many people arrived and from where; it does not tell us who you are.
About cookies
We set no cookie to follow you. The software behind the site sets one only if you comment or sign in as staff. Cookies from the third parties described below are theirs, not ours.
What you can ask us to do
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and the site will still work. Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted — for example under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, or under California law. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
